The Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb to Speak in DC Area June 7-10
The Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, Pastor of Christmas Lutheran Church in
Bethlehem and Director of Bethlehem's
International Center, will be in the Washington DC area to discuss
his newest book, Bethlehem Besieged:
Stories of Hope in Times of Trouble (www.augsburgfortress.org).
Pastor Raheb, one of the most thoughtful Christian voices in the Middle
East today, will reflect on current conditions in Palestine and share
stories of peacemakers in that region. A short biography of the Rev.
Dr. Raheb appears in the Wittenberg Awards section of the Luther
